Principal’s Message

It is my pleasure to welcome you to St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School in Quirindi. Our school belongs to a system of schools within the Diocese of Armidale. We believe that in choosing a Catholic school, parents enter a partnership with the school in which there is a shared privilege and responsibility for each student’s faith formation, learning and wellbeing. We offer an inclusive education based upon Catholic Principles and Values; as we also welcome students from different religious and cultural backgrounds.

Guided by the Living Well Learning Well Framework our dedicated staff work collaboratively to promote calm classrooms where each student feels safe, valued, respected and cared for. Quality learning and teaching is at the forefront of what we do. We work in partnership with parents to personalise learning and encourage each student to develop as a unique individual. Student voice is fostered through the provision of meaningful and worthwhile learning experiences. Students have a say in the next steps in their learning.

At St Joseph’s we ensure students have many sporting opportunities, including pathways to State and National Championships. We have a comprehensive Creative Arts program including a specialist music teacher. We encourage students to be confident performers and we are proud of our whole school productions. Students use up to date technology to enhance their learning and to develop critical and creative thinking.
